I have been a Realtor® since 2000 and Principal/Broker/Owner of Excelsior Realty Group, Carolyn E. Lassiter & Associates since 2004. Prior, I was a licensed Nursing Home Administrator with 25 years of experience in the Health Care Industry providing services to the geriatric community. Today, my professional career continues to focus on client quality of life issues, however, in a different venue. I diligently strive to serve my clients looking for a home with the same passion whether they choose to buy, sell or rent property throughout the Metro Boston area, the North Shore and Southern New Hampshire. I also assist as a Referring Agent if a client need is not within this geographical area.

My educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts, a Master of Science Degree from Simmons College, and a Graduate of the Ray Vogue School of Fashion Design and Merchandising. I am an active member of the Eastern Middlesex Board of Realtors, Greater Boston Board of Realtors, Massachusetts Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Professional and Civic affiliations include the Melrose Rotary Club, Melrose Chamber of Commerce, Stoneham Theater Guild and Toastmasters International.

Lifelong learning is key to success, and I have consistently worked towards and achieved Realtor® professional designations and certifications through the National Association of Realtors (NAR). I am a Certified Residential Specialist, Certified Residential Brokerage Manager, Accredited Buyers Representative, Senior Residential Specialist, GREEN®, Accredited Staging Professional and At Home with Diversity®.   I am also certified as a Military Relocation Specialist through the National Association of Realtors.

I have the skills and experience that allow me to respond to the unique needs and desires of the fastest growing segment of home Buyers and Sellers today, and I have aligned myself with trusted and respected lenders, attorneys, home inspectors, and translators (as necessary) who will provide my clients with the necessary level of service.

Helping to build and strengthen community is an important part of my life ~ for me, it is the right thing to do!

Dear Carolyn,
I wanted to thank you again for helping me purchase my first home! It was a daunting process, but I had a great team behind me and I'm very thankful for that. I'm settling in nicely thanks to a lot of help. With your guidance and support I found my "home."
- Many thanks, Kristen

Dear Carolyn,
My wife and I want to thank you so much for the fantastic job you did in executing the recent sale of our property.
Your skill as a realtor was apparent to us from the outset of our association as you moved very quickly to obtain data and information concerning the zoning and occupancy regulations of the property. Your forethought and willingness to research and obtain necessary certificates enabled us to meet updated criteria and saved us countless hours of visitation to local city offices. Your ability to accurately assess the market value of the property and to interact with potential buyers brought us a speedy and successful sale.
Throughout the entire process, Carolyn, we've been impressed with your kindness, understanding and integrity. We truly appreciate your efforts on our behalf and we won't hesitate to recommend you to friends and neighbors should they need real estate services.
- Sincerely, Bob

"Dear Carolyn, Bill and I thank you for handling the sale of our home in a friendly and professional manner. We had some unique requests. You didn't falter in the way you worked with us. You honored our wishes in a very difficult Real Estate Market."
- With Appreciation, Bill and Julie Barnes

"My mother and I needed to sell our home quickly. We followed Carolyn's advice concerning minor home improvements and staging. With these changes and Carolyn's hard work and professionalism, we sold our home the day of our first Open House."
- Norma Colletta

"Carolyn Lassiter of RE/MAX Excelsior was the Realtor that helped sell our home in Stoneham. During the difficult times in which we were selling our home, Carolyn was always courteous, professional and efficient. We credit her and her professional staff with selling our house in a slow market. She was focused and determined and always honest. Our house sold within a short period of time and we were thrilled. She handled the closing and all the details with extreme accuracy and efficiency."
- Sincerely, Joe and Karen Bragalone

"Carolyn, Michele and I want to thank you for representing us in our home purchase over the last several months. Your diligence and hard work was much appreciated. We are still working on the house and anticipate moving in in March. We'll let you know when---we're optimistic it will be worth the effort and wait! Have a great February"
- All our best, Rick, Michele and Allie

"Hi, On behalf of the Stoneham Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Marty Murphy and the staff at Montvale Plaza, thank you so very much for your participation in last week's Senior Luncheon. We heard many compliments from those attending regarding the kindness and festive spirit of the volunteers. You worked hard and joyously and we are most grateful for your continued support and commitment to the community!"
- Sharon Iovanni, Executive Director

"Hi Carolyn, Just a quick note to tell you that Margaret Warren, who bought Padilla Beard's antique home on Maple Street, has decided to become a member of the Historical Commission and we are thrilled to have her. So this is a second thank you for selling the house to a family with a passion for the past. Also, nice to see your diversity/hot air balloon ride poster over Blockbuster. I hate that bulletin board, but love your message and community spirit!"
- Marcia
